Tell any young child that you knew his/her mommy before they were born and the concept just won't register. I think this has something to do with the fact that they are fresh out of the womb and their bodies are still infused with creation DNA.
They always say that out of the mouth of babes comes forth truth, so maybe we should be thinking twice before we dismiss their enthusiastic spirit as they eagerly argue that they have been in existence forever.
2 Corinthians 5 tells us that in Christ we are a new creation. Our old spirit dies and we are reborn with with a new spirit that is embeded with the eternal DNA of God.
The only thing standing in the way between us and eternal life is our acceptance of Christ as saviour.
