Have you ever had a day when you just end up saying, "enough already, I just want this day to end!" Well I think Jesus understood that feeling well. As we meditate on this week before his crucifixion, I know there had to have come a time when he thought to himself, "I just want to get this over and done with."
Hebrews 4 tells us that we have a high priest who is able to understand our weaknesses, and he does because he has lived the same life we have.
Scripture also tells us though that for the joy set before him he endured the cross. What joy? The joy of having a living relationship with you and me.
So next time you are feeling worn out, remember Christ and his strength will be with you!
