Have you ever worked with someone who
positively challenges you to step up your performance and deliver
your best work? I know I have and the one thing I can say for sure
is that the reason I felt confident enough to step it up and deliver
is because they showed belief in me.
It is truly amazing to work in that
kind of environment because you know that no matter what the
challenge is you will always rise above the circumstance because
belief shown in you by another person gives you the courage to try
anything and take risks.
It was only after Jesus reaffirmed him
that Peter had the courage to stand in front of a crowd of thousands
of people and preach the gospel of salvation. Jesus belief in Peter
even gave Peter the courage to face the same horrific death He had
encountered and this being crucified upside down.
If you are working with someone right
now and you know that they are not delivering their best, try to
affirm them and tell them that you believe in them. You never know
how much your words of encouragement might propel them forward to
success.
