2010 had Paul the Octopus. They claim that 2014 will the year of some
Turtle dude, but I'll tell you who will be the real 2014 World Cup
oracle, her name is Gertrude.
Who is Gertrude? Gertrude is my German Fräulein alter ego. This year
Gertrude is predicting that it will be a Germany Vs Holland final and
her bets are on Germany to win.
This all brought me to an interesting thought. It is usually when I'm
most stressed that my sense of humour really kicks in. I suppose that's
my coping mechanism, but it can be more than that. God gave us a sense
of humour for good reason. Use it to not only brighten your day but to
lift up the spirits of those around you.
