I have just spent the last 3 days at a
Sage Payroll course. This was a real joy for me to do as it has been
a long time since I have had the opportunity to learn a completely
new set of accounting skills. Sure I wrote my accounting and tax
exams years ago, but I have never learned how to do a fully automated
payroll solution before.
Why is this such an exciting challenge
for me to take on? Because I will now not only be able to add value
in my role to my current employer, but this is truly a vocational
skill that I can utilize well into my retirement years. Yip,
unfortunately I do plan on working for quite some time.
Would you believe me if I told you that
you add value to God? How, you ask? Because if we don't choose
Jesus to be our Saviour then Christ's sacrifice would have been in
vain. If every person who ever lived rejected God, there would have
been no purpose for which He gave His life.
Therefore know that you are precious to
God, not only because He made you and you are created in His image
and His beloved, but because you are the reason for which Christ was
manifest into our world.
